Design Exercise
What with me being a designer and all...
i decided to set myself a brief.
That is to design educational logos for important events that Singaporeans should take note of. :D
I had fun doing them, around 5 mins in all.
Beware of Lightning
Singapore is one of the most deadly places in the world as far as lightning is concerned. Singapore has the highest incidence of lightning strikes in the world (180 days a year), and you've more chance of being struck by lightning here than winning the lottery!
PAP Smear Campaigns
A Pap smear is a test your doctor does to check for signs of cancer of the cervix. The cervix is part of your uterus (womb). During a Pap smear, your doctor takes a sample of cells from your cervix to be tested. This is especially important because cervical cancer is still the second most common gynaecological cancer in Singapore.
But PAP smears are not just confined to women in Singapore. Males who have especially strong views regarding certain topics are reccommended to go for regular screening too - preferably once every four years.
Silence is Golden
I'm sure you know what to do and how to behave in the libraries. But children usually pay no heed to the vocal reminders of the librarians. Stricter measures are required to make sure they don't ever open their mouths to make unnecessary noise. This training should start from a young age. Therefore, I reccommend that children who do not keep their mouths shut in the library should have this sticker pasted over their mouths - not just in the library, but everywhere else they go! Just to reinforce this silence thing, ya know - unless you want them to grow up into irresponsible adults like MrBrown who distort the truths and blame our awesome government. :/ Shame on you MRBROWN. SHAME ON YOU!
